Considerations by a Geodetic Engineer / Land Surveyor when it comes to pricing survey works
1. location - Is it flat, mountainous, near a river, etc?
2. Land Use - agricultural, residential, commercial, industrial
3. Hazards and Safety - Is it NPA infested or is there an informal settler?
4. Titled or untitled
5. Purpose of the survey and types of survey to be done - boundary survey, topo/site detail survey, subdivision etc.
If subdivision, number of resultant lots. How many lots will the mother lot be divided into?
So those asking how much to take a survey, that's the information that licensed GEs need...
Pricing Example:
For a residential lot less than 1 hectare... The minimum expected cost of the boundary survey is Php45k plus tax and fees. Provided titled at no disputes.. if use for legal claims... More expensive.
Then if to be subdivided into two (2) lots additional Php38k plus taxes.
Titling expenses are separate... If titling is included plus Php25K or 20% of the total survey contract.
From boundary to subdivision to titling the minimum is Php108k (as per GEP Geodetic Engineering Services Rates or Tariff)
Note: the final pricing is based on the discussion between the Licensed GE / Land Surveyors and the client...
amazing and very informative!
